Motologic was founded in 2007 by Director, Paul Free. Established in Campbellfield in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, Paul and his team carried out both general servicing and specialised work on all makes and models of motorcycle, both on-road and off-road. Motologic quickly gained a reputation as the go-to for all motorcycle needs.
Paul's knowledge of motorcycles and racing stems from his life-long love of riding and a successful career as a road racer both in Australia and overseas. Paul competed successfully in the Australian road racing championships through the 90's and even had a small taste of the World Supersport Championship in 2000.
In 2002, after retiring from racing, Honda Australia employed Paul to re-establish their factory Superbike team. In 2004 and 2005, Paul lead the team to consecutive 600 Supersport and Superbike Championships and two Manufacturer's Cups in a row. In 2007, Motologic became the race team headquarters for Honda Australia's Superbike racing team as Paul made the bold decision to start his own company.
In 2008, Paul took his race team to another Superbike Championship title. With many podium finishes in between, Team Honda Racing won the 2014 Australasian Superbike Championship and took all 3 podium positions in one of their most successful seasons to date. 2015 was another great year with Troy Herfoss winning the Australasian Superbike Championship. In 2016, Herfoss was again the Australian Superbike Champion but this time it was in the revitalised Motorcycling Australia run ASBK series.
