SUSPENSION SOLUTIONS
Motologic offers a wide range of options to upgrade the balance, feel and handling of your motorcycle. We cater for ALL levels of rider from general street use to A-Grade racers that are looking for that competitive edge.
Motorcycles come from the factory with a fairly generic setup. A one-size-fits-all approach. The STD setup is also generally based around the type of usage anticipated (sports / tourer / naked etc).
If you fall outside that general window or you use the bike a little differently, like for racing, then it most likely won’t offer you the quality of ride and performance you are after in standard form.
MOTOLOGIC CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION SOLUTIONS OFFERS A RANGE OF SERVICES:
GENERAL ADJUSTMENT
A general adjustment to the front and rear of the motorcycle is the perfect starting point. You may be looking to find better balance from your bike; better bump absorption; more support under brakes; or more support on acceleration because your bike won’t hold a line when riding in the hills. For general riding a simple adjustment can take your motorcycle to a whole new level. It’s the perfect starting point to allow you to really enjoy your motorcycle and ensure your safety whilst riding.
UPGRADES TO THE STD SUSPENSION
The STD suspension in a lot of cases can easily be upgraded to give a higher quality of ride. For example, stronger springs if the STD springs are too soft for the current rider. Increased damping rates (revalve) is sometimes required if the bike lacks damping, this can sometimes be felt like the bike wallows a lot or pitches a lot from front to rear when you transition from throttle to brake or vice versa. Sometimes the damping is too hard from the factory and can be felt like it crashes into bumps and doesn’t ride through them.
SUSPENSION REPLACEMENT
If you want to really take your bike to the next level then replacing the fork internals and the rear shock absorber may be the way to go for you and your bike. Some suspension packages on bikes offer limited to no adjustability from the factory, so to replace this type item with an adjustable unit is a great option. Adjustable units are also generally a lot more serviceable. If you want to change springs and settings regularly then this is definitely the direction you want to go.
ELECTRONIC SUSPENSION
Don’t be afraid to adjust your electronic suspension. Some of the current motorcycles have extremely easy to navigate and adjustable electronic suspension. Others have really complex systems, but someone who understands the system can extract really incredible results. In all cases the internals of the forks and shock absorbers can be modified in the same way that non-electronic suspension can be. If you are not completely happy with the feel and/or balance of your bike it can be modified to suit your needs in all the same ways as described above.
